COMMUNITY IMPACT & VOLUNTEERISM

Our Community Rising: Training, Resources & Opportunity for All

On September 20, 2025, the community came together in Mesa for Our Community Rising, a one-day event dedicated to empowerment, learning, and connection. Hosted and held in collaboration with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the program was organized by Our Community Foundation with the support of local leaders and volunteers. It offered free classes in sports, arts, martial arts, vocational skills, and financial literacy for children, youth, and families.
The day kicked off with energy and excitement as participants explored new skills, joined hands-on sessions, and connected with mentors. From volleyball and pickleball lessons to workshops in creative arts, self-defense, and financial education, the event reflected the true spirit of bayanihan—neighbors lifting each other up.
Vendors, resource tables, and partner organizations also added to the atmosphere, providing valuable information and opportunities for networking. More than just a series of classes, Our Community Rising embodied PACCA’s mission to support growth, collaboration, and innovation in the Filipino-American and broader Arizona community.
By investing in training and wellness, this initiative highlights how shared knowledge and collective action can create stronger families, thriving businesses, and a brighter future for all.

COMMUNITY IMPACT & VOLUNTEERISM

Team PACCA Gives Back — One Meal at a Time

At the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (PACCA), success isn’t just measured in business growth — it’s measured in how we show up for our community. And on August 12, 2025, our members did just that.
In partnership with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Tempe, PACCA volunteers joined forces for an afternoon of service — hairnets on, gloves ready, and hearts full. Together, we packed hundreds of nutritious meals that will be delivered to children facing hunger across the globe.
But this wasn’t just a packing event — it was a powerful reminder of what happens when community comes together.

CROSS-CULTURAL BUSINESS TIPS CORNER

From Lumpia to Lattes: Winning with Filipino and American Audiences in Arizona

Arizona isn’t just desert sunsets and spring training baseball — it’s also home to one of the fastest-growing Filipino-American communities in the Southwest. With Phoenix, Mesa, and Chandler buzzing with entrepreneurs, educators, and foodies, there’s huge potential for businesses that know how to bridge Filipino warmth with American hustle.

BUSINESS & ECONOMIC UPDATES CORNER

A New Era for Filipino-American Business in Arizona

Chandler, AZ – The Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (PACCA) proudly celebrates the historic opening of the Philippine Consulate in Chandler—a milestone that brings government services closer to more than 90,000 Filipino-Americans in the state and unlocks exciting opportunities for business growth and collaboration.
The Consulate, led by Honorary Consul Jenny Ho, is more than just a service hub for passports and visas. It is a gateway to stronger partnerships between Arizona and the Philippines. This Consulate is here not only to serve our community but also to strengthen business and cultural ties that will benefit both Arizona and the Philippines.
With Chandler already a hub for technology and innovation, the Consulate’s presence creates powerful opportunities for trade missions, business matchmaking, and entrepreneurial exchange. Small businesses, startups, and established companies alike can now look to the Consulate as a vital resource for connecting with the fast-growing Philippine market.
The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (PACCA) sees this as a game-changer—opening doors for trade missions, networking, and investment opportunities that will benefit both communities. “Together with Honorary Consul Jenny Ho, we look forward to building bridges that empower Filipino-American entrepreneurs, expand investment opportunities, and showcase Arizona as a partner in global growth.”
The Philippine Consulate in Chandler is not just a symbol of progress—it is a catalyst for stronger economic, cultural, and community ties. For Filipino-Americans in Arizona, the future has never looked brighter!
